Abstract of papers are welcome on themes outlined for the Conference. Interested authors are requested to submit extended abstracts written in English. The abstract should include the title of paper, name(s) of author(s), presenting author, affiliations including e-mail addresses, keywords, theme and conclusions.
Abstract should be submitted by 31 August 2008 (extended) via official website or email Conference Secretariat igces@utm.my and cc to igces.utm@gmail.com in PDF or MS Word format (code of theme must be included). All abstract will be reviewed. Instructions for final papers will be sent along with notification of acceptance of abstract by 15 September 2008.
PAPER FORMAT
The full paper must be submitted in MS Word 2003 format based on the template of
paper format. The template of this format can be downloaded from this page.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Prospective authors are invited to submit extended abstracts at the on-line submission. The abstracts are expected to be about 2-3 A4 pages, single column in pdf format. The abstracts should also inlude background and motivation to the work, methodology, sample results and discussions.
To submit a new paper, at the on-line submission page, choose Submit a Paper link. You will then be directed to a submission page where you will need to fill in information about the author(s). You are also required to specify the technical area, the keywords and the abstract of your paper. On the same page, you are required to upload the extended summary. Please be reminded that the format of your paper must be in PDF format. Finally you are required to enter a password which you will need to make future changes to the submission; therefore, please remember this password.
Selected papers will be considered for publication (as full-length research papers) in Jurnal Teknologi, published by Penerbit UTM and other peer reviewed journals. The selection is subject to full review and revision of the respective journals.
